Anglo Aquarium has been proudly sponsored by Banrock Station Wines for the 2006 show. From a run-down sheep station purchased in 1998, Banrock Station Wines has repaired the natural wetlands and woodlands in southern Australia, and created a sustainable vineyard of 250 hectares nestled between the two ecosystems. Banrock Station Wines' conservation efforts have led to more than $3 million being contributed towards 60 global conservation projects in 12 countries. They were very supportive of the show in 2006 and were a pleasure to work with. Their fine wine as welcome as their company. |

The design has been inspired by contemporary Australian art based on traditional ground paintings, where concentric circles were used to symbolise a place for sitting, and adjoining straight lines to signify travel. The garden takes you on a journey through the wetlands, with adjacent aquatic banks encircling the contemplative rest stops. Marginals and native plants are surround by red earth and a bird hide serves as an information centre. |

Anglo Aquarium and Banrock Station are also proud to be the first exibitors at Hampton Court to win the BBC's "People's Choice Award", as voted for online. Anglo Aquarium recieved over 50% of the votes in competition against every stand on display at hampton court. We cannot stress our thanks to the public enough for their support. A lot of hard work went into the design and construction of the garden, and it means a lot to us that we captures the hearts of the visitors. Anglo Aquarium was also awarded the Silver-Gilt award for the design of the garden. |

The design of the garden was by Jonathan Martin and Loi Man, our competition winners from Capel Manor College who, developed an innovative and attractive design to our brief. |
